With each cast iron purchase you will receive information on seasoning and care. Please read them.
We always recommend washing and seasoning any cast iron - new or used.
Our iron comes pre-seasoned which is a food grade oil, this only starts the seasoning process. It is up to you to wash and season your new iron. This is quite easy to do and continue seasoning each time after use.
