Updates & self-sufficiency

With all of the changes in our country this past year, and so far not a lot has changed.  Many people have/are learning the importance of self-sufficiency should it suddenly become necessary. For this reason we are trying to do our part with lowering prices and absorbing some of the shipping costs. We have received our new shipment, minus size 3/4 & size 3 potjie pots. With the new shipment came some changes to our prices and shipping costs. Not everything has been reduced but many have.

Shipping goes up again

As usual shipping cost are increasing.  We will continue doing our part to keep shipping costs as low as possible.  Below we are including the info we have received on the subject. USPS:  Effective January 24, 2021In 2021, retail prices for USPS services will increase by an average of 4.9%. Shopify continues to offer some of the lowest USPS rates available anywhere through Shopify Shipping:Use First Class Package Service on Shopify and save up to 64% off retail rates– the most common method for shipping packages up to 16 oz. through Shopify Shipping.Merchants who are on the Shopify, Advanced, and Plus plans and use Priority Mail Cubic pricing continue to get up to 88% off retail rates in 2021. Shipping rates increase for 2020

Here we go again...Shipping rates are on the rise for 2020.  Below are the increases we are looking forward to - not. As a reminder we DO NOT inflate shipping costs. UPS Ground will increase by an average of 5.2% USPS: First-Class Package Service will change to zone-based pricing. That means the cost to ship will be determined by both the weight of your package and its destination. Previously, the cost was determined by the package weight alone. First-Class Package International Service will increase by an average of 3.7%
